Everything you've seen was fake.
This is the real stuff.
Ryan Melton has spent his life making things that aren't real look more real than the real thing.
Born in Los Angeles to a family of artists, he spent 20 years as a Hollywood art director and graphic artist. You've seen his work. You just didn't know it. In 2012 he opened Hero Graphics in Burbank, making the hero props that have to fool a 4K camera, and earned an Art Directors Guild nomination along the way. Netflix, HBO, Disney and Marvel have all trusted him with their beautiful lies.
After fifteen years and four companies, he's turned his 10,000-square-foot studio, part art studio and part factory, on a new subject: us. Melton Market gathers nearly two decades of his writings, musings and graphics into one idea. Every piece is a signed, numbered limited edition, made by hand and machine.
Pick something up. Read the label. It starts reading you back.
